Why is an item missing from the App Store version?
The Mac App Store version runs in Apple's sandbox, which hides most other apps' caches and device backups and does not allow running developer tools. The free download from this website has every rule.
Can Molt delete something I need?
Molt lists only files that its rules know to be rebuildable, and nothing is checked until you check it. Items that do not come back, such as Xcode archives and device backups, go to the Trash instead of being deleted.
Why does Molt not search my Documents folder?
macOS asks permission before an app reads Desktop, Documents or Downloads. Molt skips them unless you add a project folder there in Molt › Settings › Project Folders.
